Five years ago, JenniSixx and I took a trip to Paris.
It was magical and disappointing all at once.
While it was so great to finally be visiting Paris,
the snow followed us from Boston getting
us stuck on the Eurostar for hours.
Once we got to Paris, it was chaos, thanks to the snow.
And by snow, I mean it was a dusting of snow.
However, it meant the closure of some tourist attractions,
such as Pere Lachaise and the Eiffel Tower.
We were suppose to be there for three days, turned into
really only a day and a half and it wasn't enough time. We literally
ran around Paris to see as much as we could.
Sadly, we didn't get to see everything.
Now, we cannot wait to go back.
However, it won't be in the winter.
We are planning to go back in the
early spring of 2017.
Where are you wanderlusting to go??
Let me know, I love hearing from you.
Best, Marie

No, a day & a half is definitely not enough time in Paris. Spring would probably be a lovely time of year. It's my favorite season, so I'm biased...I know.
ReplyDeleteWhy don't we have those pretty doors here in Boston? I'm sorry you weren't able to be there for the full 3 days, but I have no doubt you'll be back - such a magical city! xo, Biana -BlovedBoston
ReplyDeleteThere's just too much to discover in Paris more than the obvious landmarks. I need about a month of immersing in the culture. These photos are lovely. Thanks for sharing :)

Ahh I love Paris and desperately want to go back. I'm glad you're planning another trip, 1 1/2 days is not near enough!
ReplyDeleteWe're going for just over two days next year and know going in we won't even skim the surface. But to me that's better than not getting there at all, so I'm looking forward to it.
ReplyDeletePairs is probably number one on my travel destinations... I'm hoping for two summers from now! Love the photos!
ReplyDeleteFunny my step family is in town from Paris as I write this. And they said not to go in winter. But surprised it would close due to a dusting I thought they got more snow then that, sounds like Seattle when it snows. I hope you get back there and I hope to get there in the spring too.

ReplyDeleteOh man, that stinks that some of the things were closed because of the snow and that it was such a short trip! Hopefully the next one will be a tad longer :)

I'm so sorry you have to work sweetie! Oh the days of the new Edition, that brings back memories! And you gave me a great idea, my friend, when I'm done with the book, send it to a fellow blogger friend! Despite having to work this weekend, I hope you find moments of beauty and lots of smiles!
