Recently, JenniSixx and I spent the weekend in Virginia and Washington, DC. Here are some of the pictures from the weekend. While we enjoyed our time, we did not enjoy the driving. They are crazy drivers down there and we were constantly getting lost. GPS wasn't any help!!

Bobby Long and Mree

We were in town for a concert. The concert was Bobby Long, Marcus Foster, Sam Bradley, and Edward Hartline. I'm a huge Bobby Long fan, he is sooo amazing live.  We had never seen Marcus Foster, Sam Bradley or Edward Hartline. All three were fanastic!! Edward is only 16 years old and what a voice on him. They are all very talented singers and songwriters. Sam and Marcus have a bunch of videos on You Tube. Check them out. You won't be disappointed.

We met some great people, made new friends and enjoyed great music! It was such a fun weekend. We hope to do it again soon. Bobby Long is currently on tour as he is releasing a new CD soon. You should totally check him out. Oh and he is adorable!

One of the things that draws me to Links of London is how simple and understated everything is. Their pieces while simple still have that "notice me" thing going on. Elegant but simple. I could totally see myself wearing these pieces everyday. Although, I would not wear them all together, that's too much. I'm not a fan of matchy match look. I like to mix and match, shake it up a bit.  Not a fan of the head to toe look of one brand. Who wants to look like a walking billboard??

Sprinkles Cupcakes

Last week, JenniSixx and I were in Georgetown (Washington, DC). We decided to stop at

Since it was early morning, we decide to split a Vanilla Cupcake for breakfast. Who doesn't like a Cupcake for breakfast? We were all excited to finally try them since we had heard good things about Sprinkles. 

Sadly, we both were let down by Sprinkles. While the store is super cute and the staff were really nice, the cupcakes were blah. The cupcake just had no real flavor to it. It was like there was no butter, no vanilla, no sugar, NO TASTE! We were glad we split one. Won't be going back there again.

Friday's Fancies-Football Frenzy!!

I live in the land of the New England Patriots but I root for the New York Giants!!!  

Actually, I'm not really into football. I know I know. Terrible. I take alot of flack for not being into football and not being a Pats fan. My excuse is that I work on Sundays, so watching the games isn't an option. When you are removed from things, it's hard to be into them. At least for me it is. 

Even though, I never watch the games, I do root for the New York Giants!! After all, they are the Super Bowl Champs!!!!!  

My favorite player on the team is

He is a local boy after all!!

I need to apologize for the lack of posts for the past few days. JenniSixx and I had been traveling and it's been a little crazy since we got back. I foolishly forgot to "schedule" my posts. 

We went to Washington, DC and Virginia, neither one of us had been there before.

We had a BLAST!!  I will be telling you all about  it next week and we have lots of pictures as well!!

For fall, I like to switch my fragrance. I'm currently wearing Merveilles by Hermes. It's a sparkling blend of citrus, pepper, fragrant woods and vetiver. It's smells AMAZING. The smell reminds me of the Hermes store and of Paris, which are two of my favorite things.

Autumn Lust List 

                         

The Fall is one of my favorite times of the year! I love the cool crisp air along with those delicious pumpkin spice lattes at the coffee shops. Of course, I always lust after a few of the new fall goodies in the stores.

I really picked out some budget breaking items for my list since it was my LUST list. What can I say, I have champagne tastes on a beer budget! 

 How gorgeous is that Alexander McQueen dress?? I would love to have something like that in my closet! Actually, I would like all of the above items in my closet! LOL.
