over with. Temptation was everywhere

Power of Perfume

Scents are a powerful thing. When you smell 
something familiar, you can instantly put a memory to it,
even if it was long ago.  Even as a child, I was aware of the power

of scents. As a child, my Mother only wore Chanel No. 5
 perfume. Even today, whenever

I smell it, I think of her. 

I'm pretty picky about perfumes and don't like anything 
that is too strong or too fruity. I also don't believe 
in over doing it. Nothing worse, than someone wearing
way to much perfume. Perfume should linger,
not overwhelm your senses.

These are my favorite perfumes,
I like to call them my signature scents.

I'm currently wearing Twilly. While I cannot

smell it on myself, people are always telling me 

I smell good which I appreciate. I want to smell

good not bad. Lol. 

Funny enough Jenn hates the smell

of it and thinks I spell like a French (whore) bad word. Which

makes me wonder, how does she know how a french (whore) 

bad word smells like??

Jenn's Makeup Faves

Hello, Jenn here today. 

Taking over for Marie who is a bit under the 

weather. About a year ago, Marie and I were in Sephora visiting 

her friend who is a makeup artist there. I was telling her that I have 

always used MAC cosmetics, but lately I felt like the product has gone

 down in quality. The makeup just wasn’t lasting a long as it used to, 

I felt like it wasn’t giving me a lot of coverage and so on and so on. 

So, she suggested I try Hourglass Veil foundation. As soon as she put 

it on my face, I was instantly in love with it. One it felt like she 

hadn’t put anything on me at all. And two my goodness my

 skin never looked as good as it does with this foundation. 

Total game changer for me. I absolutely love it! It’s amazing 

coverage and it’s so weightless! I cannot say enough good things 

about it! And normally I wouldn’t even make a whole blog post about it, 

but I know people like suggestions for different things and

 man oh man this foundation is just incredible! So 

if you’re in the market for a new foundation or just want

 to try something new. I highly suggest it! 

Ambient Lightening Palette

The other products that I use by Hourglass are the Veil Mineral Primer 

and the Ambient Lighting Palette. The primer is really good,

 but I tried the Tom Ford Illuminating Primer and I am obsessed with it. 

So I use that now. The ambient lighting palette is pretty special 

and I like the glow it gives my skin.

 Other products I use on the daily are Kat VonD Lock it concealer crème,

 Benefit BAD gal Bang mascara, Tom Ford Eye ColorQuad, 

Kay Von D Tattoo liner. 

All are amazing! 

And as you can see, I no longer use MAC cosmetics. I literally 

used them for  years and years, but the last couple of years I have 

noticed that it’s just not the same quality that it once was. Maybe one day

 I will go back, but for right now I’m very happy with the products

 I have been using and my face hasn’t looked better!
