I'm loving all the scallop designed items that are out now. Girly and Flirty in one. How fab is that Pucci dress!! Love it. And those Chloe shoes!! Adorable! Sadly, I have heard that the Chloe shoes aren't very comfortable. Boo. I still love them.

I haven't done a purse photo shoot in awhile. So, I contacted my favorite photographer, Bmoney and we set out to take some photos of one of my favorite purse! 

My purse is by Hermes and it's called the Victoria Fourre Tout or Victoria II. The color is Blue Jean which is no longer being made by Hermes. Sad face.

One of the reason's I wanted this bag was I liked the look of it. It holds the same amount as a totebag but without that totebag look. This bag just looks nice but without being flashy. Inside, there are three pockets. Great for organizing my bag. It's a great for everyday. I can fit all my junk in it and let me tell you I carry alot of junk. Oh and she has feet on the buttom, so I don't have to worry about her when I put her on the ground.

Newburyport, MA

JenniSixx and I went up to Newburyport the other day. It's a quaint coastal town north of Boston, about forty minutes from the city. The downtown shopping district is picturesque and home to some very cute boutique shops.

One of the reasons I like going to Newburyport is to walk around and go in and out of all the cute boutique's. They range from high end stuff to cheap little trinkets. My favorite stores are Modern Mille (a vintage store with great sales) and The Best of British which sells imported goods from the UK. Newburyport is also home to Winfrey's Fudge. Not only do they have yummie fudge but they also sell chocolates and candies.

If you are looking for a quaint coastal town with out the crowds, Newburyport is the place. There is also a bunch of restaurants that are excellent. My favorite being the Grog and Michael's Harborside.

There so many options, that it is endless.  I can't even tell you how much time I was on their site, designing different notebooks. I loved that you can actually see exactly what your notebook will look like including the inside. How many sites have that!!??!!! 

I had a hard time choosing one.  And everything can be personalized!! How awesome is that?? Love anything that is personalized.

 These notebooks are indestructible. How many notebooks have you had that after much use are falling apart?? You don't have to worry about that with May Books!

They were also fantastic to deal with. So friendly and helpful.
Loved the packaging that came when my notebook arrived. Also, they included a coupon for my next purchase! How sweet was that!

Pearl Jam - Smile - Boston - 5/17/10

Two years ago, JenniSixx got very ill and ended up in the intensive care unit of Massachusetts General Hospital (MGH).  Due to the the severity of her illness, she had to remain at MGH for the week.  It happened to be the same week she had tickets to go see her favorite band, Pearl Jam (PJ). She didn't care about being sick or being told that she would have to have another brain surgery. All she cared about was that she would have to miss seeing her favorite band.  I have lost count of how many times she has seen them. 

A good friend of hers, Jim, whom she was going to the concert with, decided to try and do something as he knew how upset she was at missing the show. Both are members of the Ten Club, the official fan club of Pearl Jam (PJ).  Jim started a thread in the PJ Forum about his sick friend who was going to miss the show, hoping someone from the band's management would see it and inform the band. 

Someone from management DID see it and informed the band.

I was beyond moved when I saw this. I cannot even type this without tears in my eyes. There are no words for how much this meant to JenniSixx because it made her forget how sick she was and how much love people have for her. 

After all, she is my hero. Seeing as how sick she was, even losing all her hair, she always is smiling. Hence, Smile is her favorite song by Pearl Jam which is the song they dedicated to her. 

If I could personally thank, Eddie Vedder, for this I would.  He made a very sick girl, happy beyond words.  His compassion for his fans is amazing. How many celebrities would take the time out do something like this?? 

Jim, thanks for being such an awesome friend!! What you did for JenniSixx was truly incredible.

I'm sharing this because I think sometimes life gets super busy and we forget about the important things. Sometimes, we all need to (including myself) take a step back and be grateful for what we have in our life. While we may not have everything we want, we have love.  Love is what makes the world go round.  

 A life without love is no life at all.

I love that I can wear this as a necklace or wear it as a bracelet. Two uses, how fab is that!! 

Since, it's silk, I prefer to wear it as a necklace. That way I don't have to worry. If I wore it on my wrist, I would probably ruin it. Plus, the silk would get dirty! LOL.

BoYo, Natural Frozen Yogurt

BoYo, short for Boston Yogurt, is a small yogurt shop on Beacon Hill.  I wasn't really into frozen yogurt until this place arrived. Now, I'm hooked. It's so good!!

Their yogurt is all natural, so I assumed that it would taste funny. Nope, not at all. In fact, the taste is fantastic. It has just the right amount of sweet and sour.  They are constantly changing their flavors which I like. Keeps it interesting.  Check them out at BoYo.

Neiman Marcus and Target, Oh MY!!

Did you hear?? Neiman Marcus and Target have teamed up to present 50 limited edition items designed by today's top designers.

An epic designer collaboration is coming to Neiman Marcus and Target on December 1, just in time for the holidays.

The two retailers recruited a whopping roster of 24 notable American designers to create limited-edition gift items. Some of the designers stayed within their primary product categories, and others tried their hands at new ones spanning women’s, men’s, home and children’s. Prices range from $7.99 to $499.99, with most items under $60. Our teams worked closely with the designers to ensure each piece would impress. The details and materials include real leather and silk, hand beading, hand-blown glass and 18K gold.

The items will be sold at Neiman Marcus Stores, Neiman Marcus Online, Target Stores and Target online. The items will be available starting  December 1, 2012.

We are looking forward to the early access since the stores usually have more items that aren't shown in the catalog and many things sell out really fast. This week has been crazy. Having a holiday in the middle of the week is not ideal. Not only did I have to work but I forgot it was a holiday and couldn't keep track of all the closing and different openings. On top of all the road closures, it was pure madness.

Tiffany Jitney Tote Bag

I really wanted a new summer bag which was canvas. I already have a few LL Bean Boat and Totes and a Vineyard Vines tote. But I wanted something a little dressy. Canvas and dressy don't really go but Tiffany has come up with a bag that was just what I was looking for.

Introducing my new Tiffany Jitney Tote Bag.

I'm LOVING this bag. It has two front pockets, two zipper pockets inside and a zippered pocket on the outside. It also has a shoulder strap. This bag fits all my stuff and then some! I will be honest, I'm a little scared of getting it dirty so I'm really careful with it. However, I did buy some carpet cleaner which I hear works well on canvas bags. I will let you know. So far so good with keeping it clean.

Tiffany Jitney Tote also comes in all blue (Tiffany Blue) and Black. I liked the natural trimmed in Tiffany Blue Leather the best.

Boston's Fireworks

Every Fourth of July, Boston has a huge celebration on the Esplanade with the Boston Pops.  It's a big celebration with people coming from all over the world to see it.  Basically, it's a free concert with fireworks. I have been a few times and it really is quite spectacular.


While I will not be attending the Fireworks this year, I will be going to a BBQ. This is the outfit I'm going to wear. Cute and festive, right??

Clinique BB Cream

Have you heard of BB Cream??? I had heard about it a few months ago and was told it was like a miracle product.  Being the cynic I am, of course, I was like yeah right!! 
Well, I was WRONG. This stuff is AH-AMAZING!!!

Clinique BB Cream

It's a  moisturizer, primer, foundation, and sunblock all in one!! It can be worn alone or under foundation. I wear it under foundation because I prefer more coverage. It really does give me that flawless look that I have been searching for. 


JenniSixx and I are both hooked on Clinique's BB Cream. Clinique's BB Cream comes in three different shades. I use 01-Very Fair and JenniSixx uses 03-Moderately fair to Medium. We may be twins but we have different skin tones.
