While I'm not a hopeless romantic (just hopeless),
I always smile when I see a heart. I can't explain it
but whenever I see a heart, I'm drawn to it. It
maybe childish but I don't care. We have
all symbol that we are drawn to (Jenn loves

Are you drawn to a symbol??

Spread the Love Gift Exchange

Today, I'm sharing the goodies I received
from the very sweet Carly for the Spread The Love
Gift Exchange. I adore all the goodies I received.
Seriously, could the socks be any cuter or
any more me??

How pretty is that necklace and earrings??
I love the heart box that the earrings came in.
So cute!! Thank you so much Carly.

I also want to apologize for my absence.
I debated posting this because well, I'm not in a
good place. You see, my very sweet dear friend passed
away. It was very, very unexpected and to say
that I'm heartbroken would be an understatement.
I had spoken to her a few days before her
untimely passing and she really felt that
she was getting better, abeit slowly. Her death
came as a shock and it's difficult to put
into words all the feelings I'm going through.
They range from shock to anger to heartbreak.
She died from complications from the flu
which has just stunned me. I ask for your
thoughts and prayers to be with her family
who are devastated and absolutely heartbroken.

Thank you,
Marie

Recent Purchases

I wish I could say I have been on a shopping ban but
that would be a lie. Haha. Shopping, I just can't seem to
quit you. Anyways, today I'm sharing some recent purchases.

In no particular order...
One can never have enough striped tees..right?
I love them.
Striped Top

I went crazy looking for the silver ones of these
last year and finally got them at the end of the summer.
When I came across the anthracite ones, I
knew I had to scoop them up right away. Hands down,
the best sandals ever and doesn't bother my
bad food. Major win!
Birkenstocks

Out of all my outerwear, I probably wear my
vests the most. When I saw this packable one,
I knew I had to have it.And the color, LOVE it.
Plus, it also makes for a great layering piece.
Downkind Vest

I love navy pants and they are really
hard to find. These fit great and make my
legs look so good.  It was a no brainier, I had to
pick them up.

Concealer
I heard this was a good concealer, so I picked it up.
When I got home, I realized I picked up the wrong color (medium)
but decided to try it anyways. While it was too dark, it
did a great job of covering the darkness up. After it dried,
I put my regular concealer on (this) and couldn't
get over how bright and "concealed" my dark
circles were. It's now part of my makeup routine.
Concealer

I got a sample of this at my local Sephora and
cannot get over how well this one works. In fact, I liked
it so much, I picked it up the same day my sample ran out.
It makes my skin look flawless!! I have tired a ton of primers
for my dry skin and many would pill under my foundation.
Not this one. Works really well with dry skin.
Primer

As I have stated many many times, my dark circles
are the bain of my existence. They have been worst than ever
and nothing seemed to be helping. A colleague recommended
these and I said what the heck. Ok, they are really expensive
but they WORK! I could NOT get over how well they worked.
I mean, I was shocked. My dark circles were soo much better.
I totally noticed a difference when I don't use them.
These are worth their weight in gold!!
Eye Masks

Foundation
One of the best full coverage foundations I
have ever tired. It covers up every imperfection,
lasts all day long and is not heavy.
It's ah-mazing foundation.
Dior

That wraps up my recent purchases.
Didn't go too crazy, I am heading
to NYC this weekend..so..
I will try to be good. But come on,
it's NYC! Maybe just pop into a few
stores. Lol.

Now it's your turn,
what are your recent purchases??
Let me know, I love hearing from you!!
Best, Marie

Takashi Murakami Exhibit, Museum of Fine Arts, Boston

Back in October, Jenn and I went to the Museum of Fine Arts
to see the Takashi Murakami Exhibit

I took lots of pictures. However, they do not do this
exhibit justice. It's even better (more vibrant) in
person. I mean how can you not smile when you
see those smiling flowers??

I will let the pictures do the rest of the talking...

Oh sorry,
Ben just had to get into a picture.
Yes, I name my purses! So what??
I could have worse vices.

Truth be told, we enjoyed
it so much, we have gone to see it three times. haha.
It's at the MFA until April,  if you are in the
area, we think you should check it out.
It's pretty awesome.

Are you fan of Murakami??
Let me know, I love hearing from you!!
Best, Marie
