Wish List Wednesday

I have to confess, I was very bad in April...I shopped,

 shopped, shopped and shopped. 

Before I even knew it I had three new pairs of shoes,

 two handbags, a wallet, a change purse, 

a bunch of makeup and well, you get the point. 

As a result, I put myself on a ban, a SHOPPING BAN!! 

It's been 23 days. Twenty three LONG days.

Today, I'm just wishing..no shopping.

Five for Friday

Well hello there.

First, I need to apologize for my sporadic blogging. 

I have been assigned a new project at work that 

has pretty much taken over my life.  Literally, all my

time (and then some) has been spent on it and

 it looks like it is going to be that way for the 

time being.  So please bare with me.

I thought it would be fun to do a Five for Friday since

I haven't done one in like forever.

Here is what I'm loving

Moulin Rouge! The Musical

The world-premiere musical based on Baz Luhrmann’s 

Academy Award®-winning film will be here in Boston

 (this summer) for six weeks. I have never seen the movie, 

so I don't really know much about the story but I'm super excited 

for it. Why?? Cause Aaron Tveit is in it

and well, I may have a small crush on him.

Ok, ok it's a big one.  Cannot wait to see this!!

And yes, I went to Moulin Rouge when
I was in Paris, just to take this picture.

Come What May- Aaron Tveit

This is the official music video of Come What May 
from Moulin Rouge! The Musical. I have been listening to 
this NON-stop!!  I cannot wait to hear the rest of the music.

Gucci GG Marmont Wallet

I picked up this little wallet back in April and LOVE it.
I didn't think I would like having such a small wallet but  
it's been great.  And really, how pretty is it??

Dr. Brandt No More Baggage 

My dark circles have been HORRIBLE. Concealer wasn't
 working, color correcting wasn't working, NOTHING.  
However, I saw on a Insta Story to put this on AFTER 
your concealer. Talk about a game changer!! 
 I put a little (just a little)on after my concealer and 
BAM, no more dark circles!! Seriously, this stuff is AWESOME.
And you can reapply as needed. It has changed my life and I'm not joking. 
I will say that it is drying, so I do keep a small jar of eye 
cream in my makeup bag at all times to add some hydration 
throughout the day should I need it. 

No More Baggage

With this new work project, things have
been quite challenging and if I'm being honest,
prettying fffing stressful. I have found this quote
to be most helpful and remind myself, that  
tomorrow is another day.

That wraps up my Five for Friday. I'm headed

to Cape Cod this weekend for some relaxation.

Although, the weather is looking pretty terrible

which seems to be my luck lately.

Crown Princess Mary

You may have heard that there is a Royal Wedding this 

weekend, so I thought it would fun to share the

 pictures I have of my up close encounter 

with some Royals.

 I had gotten inside information that

the Crown Prince and Crown Princess of Denmark

would be making an appearance at the Massachusetts

State House.  Seeing as Crown Princess Mary

is my favorite, I knew I had to try to get in and see her.

Even if it was to just get a glimpse.

Crown Princess Mary smiled at me but I didn't 

get a picture of that. I wanted to actually

watch her walk by with my own eyes

not through my phone camera.

My super awesome twin, had arranged for me to

be able to watch them as they came into the 

State House for their visit. I wanted to be up

close and personal and I WAS!!

I should note that their security team is

 all very good looking Danish men!! 

It all happened so fast but I was thrilled

to see them walk by me. Literally, I was

freaking out on the inside. My only

regret is that my camera was on the 

live option so it made the pictures

come out grainy looking.

 But, the memories will stay with 

me forever.  

I don't normally get all fan girly

but this was one time I was

and it was AWESOME.

7. Game Night: Yes or No? 
Marie- Yes.
Jenn- Yes.

8. Favorite Outside Game to play?
Marie- Tennis.
Jenn-  Kick ball.

9. Favorite TV Series ever?
Marie- Games of Thrones!!
Jenn- Sons of Anarchy. 

10. Sitcoms growing up or Sitcoms of today?
Marie- I will say growing up as I don't
watch any sitcoms now. Although, I did
watch Fuller House and loved it.
Jenn-  Growing up!
 I don’t think any of the sitcoms on these days are funny.
 I have tried to watch a few of them, and none of them 
made me laugh. A few chuckles, but that’s about it

11. Miniature Golf or Bowling?
Marie- Neither, I'm terrible at both
and refuse to play. I hate mini golf because
I'm so bad at it. Like really bad. And it's always
the loser buys the ice cream. Without fail, I'm
always buying the ice cream.
Jenn-  MINI GOLF and I'm really good at it.

12. Favorite Movie Theater Candy?
Marie- Reese Pieces.
Jenn-  Ohhh tough one! 
I’ll go with raisinets

13. How do you like your popcorn?
Marie- With butter.
Jenn- With butter.
My boyfriend and I go to the movies alot
and I usually come home with the leftover popcorn,
Marie gets mad when I don't. haha
She LOVES movie theater popcorn.

14. 3D movies with the glasses; Yes or No?
Marie- NO, hate it. It's too hard wearing 
TWO pairs of glasses.  
 Jenn- NO! 
Those 3D glasses are so annoying
 to wear! 

15. Favorite Genre of Books to Read?
Marie- Historical Fiction.
 Jenn- True Crime.


It's so fun doing this little Q and A's because
as you can see, Jenn and I are alike but 
also very different. haha
