JenniSixx and I had so much fun in London. 

The first day we visited Kensington Palace and the Gardens which was amazing.

After that, we headed over to Buckingham Palace which was also amazing.

It's so grand, and sadly, not opened to the public.

Except of course the gift shop!!

From there we headed over to Covert Garden to do a little shopping.

We spent the rest of the day walking around the city, taking it all in.

Sadly, my pictures didn't come out as well as I had hoped.

Guess, we will just have to go back!!

Ha! Right, Jennisixx??

Friday's Outfit

This week's outfit was inspired by Duckling's in Boston's Public Garden.
 They were all dressed up this past week for Easter.
 Plus, it was also the kick off to the Swan Boats returning to the water.
After a very long winter, it's nice to see the sun and enjoy the warmer temperatures.
 Even though, they will soon be disappearing (back to the 50's and rain).
While I'm not the biggest fan of the color yellow,
 there is something very calming about soft yellow.
It reminds me of summer which everyone is looking forward to.

Marathon Monday

Runner's World

Today, is the Boston Marathon.

It's one of the greatest Marathon's in the world.

We stand tall, we rise again, we are one.

"Even when our heart aches, we summon the strength that maybe we didn't even know we had, and we carry on; we finish the race. We finish the race, and we do that because of who we are, and we do that because we know that somewhere around the bend, a stranger has a cup of water. Around the bend, somebody's there to boost our spirits. On that toughest mile, just when we think that we've hit a wall, someone will be there to cheer us on and pick us up if we fall."

Boston

One year ago, Boston was rocked to it's core with two bombs going off at the Boston Marathon. 

Four people lost their lives and many others lives were forever changed.

My thoughts and prayers are with the victims, the victims families and all the survivors. 

We will never forget.

Back to Basics

This week's outfit was inspired by the basics. The basics of fashion that is.
I took a simple outfit and added some color and accessories to make it pop.
Everyone should own a pair of skinny black pants and a tunic. You can dress it up or down.
I stick to basics and use accessories to make my outfit feel difference.
As well as stand out. Let the accessories do the speaking.
Never forget the power accessories can have.
They can make or break an outfit.

Also, a bright pink lip can make any outfit feel more glamorous.
I have been rocking bright pink lips for the past few weeks and can't get over how
 many times I have been complimented on my outfit and/or my lip color.
When I wear my normal pinky nude, I don't get nearly as many comments.
I truly believe it's my lip color.  If you are wondering what lip color

Monday Morning Gossip-The Heat

Today I'm gossiping about the movie The Heat!!

You are probably wondering why am I'm gossiping about a movie that came out last summer!!

Well, as usual, I'm late to the party as I just saw this movie while on the plane home from London.

This movie had me literally, laughing out loud. In fact, I was laughing so hard that a few flight attendants and fellow passengers commented on my laugh. When I laugh, I laugh loud and hard.They told me that my laughing made them all laugh. One gentleman told me that every time he heard me laugh, he started laughing and that it made his flight better. Of course, I was embarrassed but also I was happy he was amused by all my laughing and not annoyed.  Have you seen The Heat??

Friday's Fancies-April Showers

You know what they say, April showers bring May flowers. 

Finally, the weather has improved around here. Sadly, it's not going to last.

 It's suppose to rain this weekend. Perfect time for me to break out the Hunter boots above.  

I recently purchased them and I LOVE THEM!! They are so comfortable!! 

What I love about them is they are really comfortable. I walked around London all day and had no problems. Usually, I find rain boots to be uncomfortable and they make my feet hot. 

Not these ones, they were awesome.
