Life Lately

 Can you believe it is almost the end of January??
Where did the month go?? Normally, January is a pretty quiet month
but not this year. It's been crazy busy but in a good way.

Thought it would be fun to do a  Life Lately-Twin Edition.


We started the New Year off in NYC. Other than the monsoon
 on New Year's Eve, we had a super fun time. Saw a fantastic show,
indulged in some retail therapy and stuffed our faces.

Best Iced Latte, we have ever had!!

The following weekend, we celebrated our 
Grandmother's 95th birthday!!

The following week, we headed back to NYC

and it sNOwed.

Nothing like NYC in the snow!!! And always,

make sure you have the correct footwear in

January. I didn't and well, I learned my lesson.

Never travel in January without a pair of

uggs in your bag!!

Oh I saw this in NYC and 

couldn't stop laughing.

This past weekend, we had another party

for my Grandmother with our

extended family!!

Phew, are you tired cause I am!!

Mane & Mani

Mane & Mani

Jenn and I both go here for our blowouts and nails.
This place is the best!! We love all the girls who work here.
Not only do they do a great job with blowouts, they are
all so friendly and fun. Jenn and I love going
for blowouts and nails. The best part is, getting 
our nails done while they do our hair. In and out within an 
hour for both services which in my book is awesome.

Modern Millie

This is a fun little dress/consignment shop in Salem, MA.
They have the best dresses in town. They are a little
retro but they also have more modern clothing, hence the name.
 If you are looking for a dress, and something different, this 
is the store to go to.

Roost & Company

This is a little card/gift store also in Salem, MA. Not only 
do they have great cards, they also have cute home furnishings
 and unique little gifts. 

Flat of the Hill

.
 This store sell a little bit of everything. From handbags to
jewelry, you can find something for everyone here.
Whenever, I need a little gift, I go here. The only downside 
to this place is that they are closed on Sundays and Mondays.
I can't tell you how many times I go on a Monday 
afternoon. ha! 

Jaho Coffee & Tea

This place is by far my favorite coffee

shop in Boston. They have a few locations in the city

but the Downtown one is my favorite. It's not 

just a coffee shop, it's also a wine bar and restaurant.

Their breakfast sandwiches are fantastic. Well, worth 

the price. 

That wraps up my fave local business. I do love
supporting small business. In fact, I find myself
shopping more and more at them.

Marie-   I only listen to music through iTunes. 

 Although,  I do have Sirius Radio

in the car and listen to it.

 (love love the Broadway channel). 

Jenn- Mostly thru my phone and ipod

(YES, I still use an ipod!).
