VACA!!!

Yes, you read that right, I'm on vacation!!
Finally, using all that vacation time I have
 accrued.  To be honest, I haven't had a proper
vacation in like forever. A few days off here and there
do not count.  

The twins are off on a jet plane.

I will be back to blogging next week.
It will be a TWIN ADVENTURE, if you would like
follow along on Instagram...

I love going into stores and play around in the makeup departments.

Being a makeup junkie is hard. I'm always on the hunt for 

new makeup. I was very lucky to get a few samples of the above items.

I have only tired the Eve Lom Cleanser and the Armani Foundation.

Both things which I'm really loving.

10 Fun Facts

{one}

I only wear fun socks. Today, my socks have Olaf on them.

 No one can see them because I'm wearing boots.

{two}

I can never have one favorite, it's usually two. I blame that on being a twin, 

you know two of everything.

{three}

I'm drawn to the color pink. If I see it in a store, I will walk right to it. 

Even if it is a garden tool, which I have no use for. I don't garden.

{four}

I am the funnier twin! It's true, I even won an award for it.

I laugh at my own jokes. 

All the time.

Sometimes,I browse the drugstore. 

Just to get that "shopping" fix.

I cannot go to Target and not go to the dollar spot. Yes, I know it's not called 

the dollar spot anymore but I will forever refer to

 it as the dollar spot. I don't even know what it is called now.

I look like a completely different person 

when I'm not wearing my glasses. I look odd. It drives

me batty that I couldn't wear my glasses in my drivers license photo.

And now, when I go renew my passport, I can't have my glasses

on either. I do look like another person.

If I had a dollar for every time someone told me their middle name was Marie, 

I would probably have a couple thousand dollars or more.

My head is filled with alot of useless information. In fact, I love useless

information. I find it useful. Pun intended.

Such as did you know that the last Queen of Romania 

was named Marie. I guess, I would find that somehow

useful to me. You the reader, not so much.

Write it Out

My life ,while wonderful, can at times

be very stressful. I'm always working or on

the go, with little time for myself.  At times, I have found myself

surrounded by anxiety and stress. So much in fact, I developed

TMJ.  It was so bad and out of control that I actually broke 

my mouth guard.  My dentist, who is so fantastic, recommended 

that I start keeping a journal. Like you know Dear Diary, sort of thing. 

Being the jerk, that I am, was like "yeah ok, sure will try it." 

Didn't think it would work at all but my TMJ was so

bad, I was willing to give it a shot. 

For the past few months, every day or every other day, I take

a few minutes and write, whatever

pops into my head. Some days I write alot

and other days I don't.  Wouldn't you know that after a few weeks,

my TMJ was getting better and I was feeling so much better.

I was so stressed that I didn't even realize I was stressed.

I'm happier, more positive, and overall feel better.

So many great benefits, just by putting pen to paper.

If you suffer from anxiety or stress, try keeping a journal.

It will make you feel better. And for the times, when you don't have 

pen and paper, type some notes down in your phone. It works as well.

It's Quiet Uptown-Kelly Clarkson, Hamilton Mixtape.

This song is hauntingly beautiful

and I have been listening to it non-stop.

This is Us

Hands down one of the BEST shows EVER!

If you are not watching it, you are completely missing out.

Watch it.  It will make you laugh, it will make you

hard ugly cry that may give you an asthma attack but

it is so worth it!! It's one of the few shows

that really truly shows you real life. Just watch it!!

Blush Slip On Sneakers

How great are these slip on sneakers??

I saw them when I was at Target and knew I had to have them.

The color is so pretty and they are really comfortable.

The Forgotten Garden by Kate Morton

I just finished this book and loved it. It is a story inside a story

that will keep you guessing until the end. It's about a little girl who

was abandoned and taken in by a family. It wasn't until her 

21st birthday that she finds out the truth. She spends her adult life 

trying to find out who she really is and why she was abandoned. 

I could hardly put this book down.

One of the best books, I have read in awhile.
