A Day in Boston-Twin Style

JenniSixx and I love playing tourist in our hometown of Boston.

This is what a Day in Boston with the Twins would be like.


Caffe Nero
Our first stop would be Caffe Nero.
We loved this coffee shop when we 
were in London and we were thrilled
when they opened one here.
Not only is their coffee good, they have 
delicious sandwiches and baked goods.

Museum of Fine Arts
After our morning coffee,

we would head over to the Museum of Fine Arts.

We both love getting lost here.

So much to see and do.

    Newbury Street  
      After getting our Art on, we would head over to Newbury Street

to indulge in a little retail therapy. Newbury street is filled

with great shops and restaurants.

Bristol Lounge

From Newbury Street we would head to the Bristol Lounge at 

The Fours Seasons Hotel.

They have the best burgers, The Bristol Burger, in town. 

Boston Public Gardens

After lunch, we would walk thru The Boston Public Gardens

It's such a pretty Garden. No matter the year, 
it's always pretty. Even when it's filled with lots of snow.

Faneuil Hall
From the gardens, we would walk over
 to Faneuil Hall/Quincy Market. It's an outdoor market
with shops and restaurant. There is always something going on there.
Some people think of it is a tourist trap, things can be expensive 
but we love it. It is always busy with people.

North End
From Faneuil Hall, we would walk over to the North End.
The Italian part of Boston and one of our favorite places!!
You can visit The Old North Church and Paul Revere's House.
There is so much to see and do. Oh and the food. 
So many fabulous restaurants. And for desert, we have to go to
Caffe Victoria. They have the BEST tiramisu. No trip 
is complete without getting one.

Friday Favorites

Can I tell you how excited I am that it is Friday??

I'm so excited because I'm off tomorrow.

Finally, a day off!!

I so need it.

Here are my favorites this week.

No Doubt About It by Jessie Smollett and Pitbull

I'm obsessed with the show Empire and fell in love in with 

this song when it was played on last week's episode.

Of course, I had to buy it. 

Love love love it.

If you are not watching Empire, you are missing out.

It's one of the best shows around.

Beauty

Glow Tonic by Pixi

I'm loving this stuff.

After using it, I can see why it has a cult following.

This stuff works!! It really makes skin brighter and clearer.

It also is really hard to find in stores.

 I must have went to five Targets before I found it. 

The good news is, it is sold online so you can just buy it online,

 if you can't find it in stores.

Be warned, it can be drying so I don't use it everyday.

A few times a week is all my skin needs.

Can we talk about how much I LOVE this store?

It recently opened up here in Boston and

 I cannot get enough. 

I'm seriously addicted to this store.

They have cute stuff that is very inexpensive.

I'm loving all the home stuff.

It's four floors filled with lots of great goodies.

I could do a whole separate post of all the things 

I have already purchased.

This is my new favorite store.

I'm so happy to have a day off tomorrow.

The only thing I plan on doing is relaxing

and getting my nails done. haha.

I'm wanderlusting to go back to Italy.
JenniSixx and I went years ago and had a blast.

Lucky for Jenn, I had been before 
and was happy to show her my favorite spots
in Florence and Rome.

During my last two trips, I was lucky
enough to travel with a translator,
which made the trip even better.
He knew all the places to go off the beaten bath.

We are planning a family vacation for 2016!!
To say we are excited is an understatement.
It's gonna be so much fun!!

It's about FBI  recruits training at the Quantico 

base in Virginia when one of them is suspected of 

being a sleeper terrorist.

OMG, it's so GOOD!!

I'm completely hooked.
