I haven't done an outfit post 

in like forever.

Thought it was about time to do one.

This is an outfit I created a while back.

It's still a great outfit for today.

I think I may wear something similar 
for Easter Brunch.

Spring Ahead

Today's outfit was inspired by the upcoming weekend weather as it is suppose to be warm and sunny. Spring like!! And when I say warm, I mean like in the high forties!! That is like a HEAT WAVE here!!  It's been so cold, so snowy, so nasty. This will be a nice break. Although, the bad weather will be back by early next week.  While I do love winter, I'm really tired of  wearing my snow boots. 
Snow boots, while warm and practical, they can be so heavy. 
They also aren't very pretty. I miss wearing my pretty shoes!!
Oh and of course, I miss using my nice purses too!!

Friday's Fancies- Back to School

While I'm no longer in school, I do like to start off September with a few new items. Ha, just like i'm still in school. My outfit was inspired by old high school uniform. I use to complain all the time about wearing a uniform. But some days, I really wish I did wear a uniform as it would make the mornings so much easier. LOL.

Friday's Fancies-Short & Sweet

This week's Friday's Fancies theme is Short & Sweet. My outfit was inspired by a girl I saw walking down the street last week. She was wearing something similar to the outfit I created and I thought she just looked fantastic. She was wearing Chanel bow sandals (so cute). Maybe it was the Chanel sandals that made her look so fantastic. Maybe it was just the way she carried herself in the heat and humidity which have been unbearable.

Summer Style

                                      

Since it has been so hot here in Boston, my summer style has become very simple and easy. I throw on a dress, add  a bold necklace, pair it with simple shoes and a great bag and off I go.

Nothing fussy with this heat. It's been so hot and humid that I can barely think straight. Is it just me or does the heat make you tired beyond belief and feel a little woozy?

Friday's Fancies- Memorial Day Weekend

This week's Friday's Fancies theme is Memorial Day Weekend. Memorial Day is the day to remember the men and women who gave their lives while serving in the United States Armed Forces. Please take a moment out of your weekend to remember those brave souls who gave their lives for us to have the freedoms we have. 

This weekend is also the official kick off to Summer. Who isn't excited for summer especially after this LONG winter. My outfit this weekend is something I would totally wear if I was going to the BBQ. How cute are those shorts?? At first glance, they look like a skirt but they are really shorts. So cute!!

Friday's Fancies-Stripes

This week's Friday's Fancies theme is Stripes. I have  a dress just like this one and love it!! It's one of my favorite pieces. The dress is perfect for this time of year. Rather than create a whole outfit, I just went all my favorite items that had stripes. A little much but what can I say other than I'm a HUGE fan of stripes!!

Friday's Fancies-Pretty in Pastels

This week's Friday Fancies theme is Pretty in Pastels!!! While, I love them, I don't wear pastels. Why, you ask? I'm pretty pale and feel like they wash me out. I love them on other people just not on me.

 I do have blush color shoes and I swear my feet are the same color!! In fact, people have commented on how pale and pink my feet are. Ha!
