Friday's Fancies-Sandal Savvy

This week's Friday's Fancies theme is Sandal Savvy. Not being very creative, I picked out all my actual summer sandals. Lol. Ok, ok, the Toms are not sandals but they are PERFECT for the summer as they are a lightweight shoe and great for walking around the city. I'm not fan of walking around the city with my sandals on as my feet seem to get filthy and gross fairly quickly.

Friday's Fancies-Bling Bling

This week's Friday Fancies theme is Bling Bling!! Rather than go crazy with the bling, I decide to post about my everyday jewelry.  My jewelry habit is much like my moods, always changing. Ha. Sometimes, I do go a little crazy with the bling!! However, lately I have been reaching for the same pieces. Much like my mood of late which has been somewhat blah (seasonal disorder, perhaps), I'm sticking to pieces that are simple but also have special meaning to me.  They were all gifts from various members of my family.
Love my family for spoiling me!!

Friday's Fancies-Holiday Best

This week's Friday's Fancies theme is Holiday Best. Since, I'm going from work straight to my family's Christmas Eve celebration, I needed my outfit to go from office to party. The first thing I picked out was this red dress. Isn't it fab? It can be dressed up or down. Love a dress that can be used in various ways. More bang for your buck! This outfit is similar to my actual Christmas Eve outfit.

This has been a very hard week. I, like many others, was rocked to the core by the events in Newtown, CT last friday. My heart breaks for them.
All gone too soon.

Friday's Fancies-Pretty in Plaid

This week's Friday's Fancies theme is Pretty in Plaid. As a prepster at heart, I LOVE plaid. A plaid skirt makes me week in the knees! Since, I love plaid skirts so much I thought it would be fun to build my outfit around one.  Pair it with a turtleneck and you have a classic New England prep outfit!! How great is that plaid skirt!!! Love it! And don't even get me started on those Hermes accessories! LOVE THEM!!!

Friday's Fancies-Costume Prep

This week's Friday's Fancies is Costume Prep. However, I will not be dressing up this year. If I did dress up, I have no idea what I would be. Instead, I was inspired by the colors Orange and Black.

The first thing that comes to mind when I think of the color Orange is Hermes. Orange is their color. LOL. The first thing I picked out for my outfit was an Orange Hermes Bag!! I created my outfit around the bag!!! Love that bag!!

I rarely wear the color orange because I don't want to look like a pumpkin. However, I will wear orange accessories especially anything from Hermes. Love Hermes!!!!

What I'm loving...fall favorites

               

Since the holidays will be here before you know it, I have been trying very hard to stay out of the stores. Easier said than done, right?  However, these are the items I'm loving for fall right now.  I would like one of each please!! Although, I will settle just for that bag, bracelet and necklace!! That isn't asking too much?? Right??
