One of my favorite things to do in the fall is
to go apple picking. This year, Jenn and I went twice.
The first place we went to was Smolak Farms.
We mainly went there because they
have the best cider donuts. They have
glazed cider donuts!! They are amazing.
Sadly, I don't have any pictures of them
because they were freshly baked and we
stuffed them into our mouths.

The second place we went to was Mack's Apples.
We had gone there to pick Pumpkins but
decided to go apple picking as well.
You can never have too many apples, right?

It was so fun apple picking.
Who doesn't love fresh apples?
I will be honest, I wasn't that
crazy about picking my own pumpkin. I didn't realize
that it would be such a dirty activity.
Not a fan of dirt.
.
Have you gone apple or pumpkin picking??
Let me know, I love hearing from you!!
Best, Marie

Ahh you got to go twice!? That is so fun! I haven't been to either one of those places, but I'll definitely check them out next year! xo, Biana -BlovedBoston
ReplyDeleteGlazed cider donuts?!?! OMG yes please!!! SO jealous of your fun fall weekend! <3, Pamela Sequins & Sea Breezes
ReplyDeleteI've only been apple picking once (last year) and it was amazing. Need to go again. I did teach myself how to make the apple cider donuts from scratch so that I could have them anytime because they are too good. Wondering if you live on the East Coast? I've heard the donuts are only available at apple farms here
ReplyDeleteI haven't been to a pumpkin patch/apple picking in forever! Sounds like an awesome weekend.
ReplyDeleteGlazed cider donuts sound so good, especially right now with my coffee! We made it to the pumpkin patch, but we didn't get to pick apples this year. Sounds like it was a fun time!

I have never been apple picking! I should definitely try that sometime! We did blackberry picking in the fall, and have yet to get any pumpkins. Maybe sometime this week/weekend KC and I can go out and get some. Cider donuts are my favorite! :) XO - Alexandra

FUN!! Oh you know I'd be stuffing in those cider doughnuts too....YUM!! Yeah, I prefer selecting my pumpkins form a pallet, lol, mud everywhere. Your Goddaughter...what a cutie! Happy Monday gorgeous!
ReplyDeletenot yet but soon! excited to go to the pumpkin patch, hayrides and the kiddie "spooky" barn walk.

Ahhh I love all the fun things! Glazed cider donuts? I need that in my life! There isn't really anywhere to go apple picking around here. We do have pumpkin patches but it was too hot for me to go earlier this season and now they are way too crowded for me to want to venture to them. But I have a feeling I will be going next year with baby!
ReplyDeleteew i don't want to do anything involving dirt. and yeah no times to take photos when you have a freshly baked doughnut in your hands. no way jose lol.
ReplyDeleteThat bucket for apple picking - adorable.
ReplyDeleteI want to get a camera in my nieces hands early - she's got a love for photography too
Glazed cider doughnuts sound AMAZING. I need to figure out how to make those!
ReplyDeletewe haven't gone for picking anything this year.. we usually try to at least do one of those activities.
ReplyDeleteNot a fan of dirt either.. though our last pumpkin picking trip was not too dirty.. they had placed on the pumpkin's on a grassy field for us.. to make picking easier I suppose.
I have never been apple picking, but oh my goodness does it look and sound like so much fun! I'm jealous that you got to go twice!
ReplyDeleteA glazed cider doughnut sounds amazing!! Wish we had those in Florida!
ReplyDeleteHow fun. I love apple picking.
ReplyDeleteI love apple farms. And having apple cider donuts is a must around this time. We had a bunch at Apple Hill recently.
