What I'm loving and Hump Day Confessions

Linking up with Melissa, Jodi, & Rachel.

What I'm Loving Wednesday and Hump Day Confessions

{one}

I  confess that I want a new purse. I don't need a new purse as I have plenty. However, that doesn't stop the desire for  a new one.  I blame the weather. I can't really carry a nice bag because it will just ruin in this weather. I'm sick of my Tory Burch bag.
Although, it does do really good in the snow. It's held up quite well.
That doesn't stop my desire. The struggle is real. I have my eye on this one.

I wish I had somewhere fancy to go so that I could wear the dress below.
Isn't it so pretty? It probably would look terrible on me but I just love the style and color.

I confess that I  think at the end of the winter, I might burn my puffy coat.
Seriously, it's so cold and snowy you have to wear it every single day.
Usually, I can wear some of my other coats such as my dressier wool/cashmere coats.
Not this year, it's just too cold for them.  It's hard wearing the same coat day in and day out, it also is just too damn puffy.

I confess that I got sucked into reading Fifty Shades of Grey. My sister insisted that I read the book so that I could go see the movie with her. She didn't want me to go see the movie (which we have not seen yet) because I would be asking too many questions like is this in the book? I'm totally the jerk who asks questions during movies. Let me put it this way, I'm as vanilla as you can can be so these books are definitely out of my range.
I have never blushed so much at reading a book.

This is a true story and why my sister did not want me to go to see the above movie without first reading the book. This is why. My friend, my sister and I were at Disney World. We were walking around the Swiss Family Robinson Tree House. Jenn and I have never seen the movie but our friend has. So, as we were walking around, I kept asking her "was this in the movie" "was that in the movie?" Jenn and our friend walked ahead of me and went and sat on a bench. Jenn turns to our friend and says, "Ten bucks says, Marie walks down those steps and says, "Was this bench in the movie?" Our friend says ,"NO ONE is THAT stupid!! I come walking down the steps and see them on the bench and say,
" WAS THAT BENCH IN THE MOVIE??" They break out in laughter.
Yes, I asked that question, I'm always asking questions.

That is what I'm loving this week and some confessions.

Happy Hump Day!!

What' are you loving this week or what is your confession??
Let me know, I love hearing from you!!
Best, Marie

  1. I won a contest at work and my prize was a Prada purse that looked similar to that, but it was black. That one is super cute! I like that shade of pink!

I can't bring myself to read 50 Shades of Grey or to see the movie. I'm probably more vanilla than you! :)

Oh, and you should totally see Swiss Family Robinson. I loved that movie as a kid!

Thanks for linking up! Have a great day!

  4. That dress is adorable. I am such a book nerd and am always the annoying person at the movies grumbling.."This is not as good as the book." I need to just stop seeing the movies and stick to reading I guess.

  5. Hahaha I'm the same way- if I have no background knowledge of the movie or TV shows, I'm always asking questions! I was like that with the show LOST; I jumped in mid-series, and drove my friends crazy with the questions. I love that dress. I've definitely bought a dress just because it was gorgeous, but it's still sitting in my closet waiting for a special occasion to wear it!

  6. I just recently bought a new Kate Spade purse and love it! I sold my other one to help with the monies ha ha :) I read 50 Shades of Gray and definitely was wide-eyed pretty often. I haven't gone and seen it in theaters. That is too funny about all of your questions at Disney!

  10. Oh god Prada. I totally want a new purse but I have so many good ones (for literally each season) that I can't justify buying one. Maybe for my next half-birthday??

  16. Many people have more knowledge in the film industry than in their niche. I think that everyone should develop with the help of films, but if a person has more knowledge in the film industry than in his or her own niche, this means that he or she is too keen on watching movies and this act does not develop, but rather becomes dull. if you are a student and you have noticed that, due to constant viewing of films, you don’t even write an essay yourself, but buy them from such services as https://buypapercheap.net/ that presents the service that offers cheap essay writing cheap essay writing - then this is a signal that you have to actively watch movies and start studying your niche.
