I'm the first to admit that I have an addiction, an addiction to handbags. I have lost count of how many bags I have. Last time I counted, it was well over 50. 50 plus handbags is not normal. I know this. Handbags are my thing, I "collect" them. Really, I love all my handbags, they are my babies.
However, now that I'm older I realize that I want to collect moments not things. In fact, having so many of handbags, there are days where I'm simply overwhelmed with which one I should use.
I have lost hours debating what bag to bring out that day. Pathetic, I know.
This year, I decided that I'm not going to be this person filled with things. I want moments, special moments, memories. I would rather go someplace than have another bag. Ok ok, I may debate whether or not I need that new bag but I'm trying very hard not to add anymore bags.
(Thanks friends for talking me out of that Saint Laurent bag)
Collect moments not things. Memories last a lifetime, those handbags won't.
Well, my Chanels and Hermes could...lol
What's your motto for the day??
Let me know, I love hearing from you!!
Best, Mree
