The other day JenniSixx and I were discussing what we were grateful for.
The first thing that came to my mind and hers was each other.
We are both extremely grateful for each other.
It's always been just us.
Growing up, we had each other to play with, each other to get in trouble with.
We were the only twins at school (grade school) and the kids, well, they weren't always nice to us.
All they saw were two little chubby girls dressed exactly alike who wouldn't leave each other's side. It was all we knew, each other. We didn't fit in with rest of the kids on the playground.
We were the weirdos. But we had each other. We always had each other.
We always say we are nothing without each other, we give each other strength, we give each other courage. It's hard to put into words the bond that we have but it runs deep, very deep.
Being a twin is unique and special.
We are both grateful for each other.

Aw... this is so sweet! Such a good reminder to be thankful! I am thankful for my family, who I miss especially around the holiday (since being in Dublin). At the same time, grateful for the time my hubs and I have had here this past year.
