New Year, New You

This week's Friday's Fancies Theme is New Year, New You.Can you believe it's a new year, already?? Where does the time go?? While I'm sad that the holidays are over, I'm very excited for the new year as it's a new start and I'm looking forward to taking more time for myself this year. Truth be told, I work way too much and it's time for me to step back and do things for me.

My outfit this week reflects a new me.  I would love to wear something like this but probably never would. I'm not much of a skirt girl and hardly ever wear knee high boots. Since, it's a new year and a new me, I thought I would start with wearing my skirts and boots more.

After a crazy holiday season (love them but they can be so busy), I'm taking it easy this weekend. I hope to relax and get out of my holiday coma.

Friday's Fancies-Bonfire Beauties

This week's Friday's Fancies is Bonfire Beauties.  Seeing as the cold weather is upon us, I picked an outfit to keep you toasty warm while outside enjoying a bonfire.

The first thing you need is a good solid coat. 

I went with a Moncler coat because they are both stylish and warm, a must in a winter coat for me. Next up is a good pair of boots. I have Tretorn boots but these Uggs caught my eye. Don't they look toasty warm? 

I threw in the Cambridge Satchel Bag for a pop of color. I have that bag above and I cannot tell you how many compliments I get when I wear it especially in the winter. Nothing like pink to brighten up a dreary cold day. 

And you can't forget your hat and gloves. As soon as I saw the hat and glove with bows, I knew I had to add them to my outfit. I LOVE anything with bows!!
