Polar Vortex

                      

Thanks to the Polar Vortex it has been FREEZING cold here in Boston. 

Bone chilling cold. 

It's so cold that it is actually painful to go outside.

As someone who isn't usually cold, this week I have been freezing!!!
Crazy enough, this weekend it is suppose to be in the 50's.

 Seeing as it has been FREEZING around here, this theme was totally appropriate. My outfit this week was totally inspired by the cold weather and the holidays. Hence, the green coat and the red sweater. ha!

Hit the Slopes

Linking up with {av} for Friday's Fancies.

    

This week's Friday's Fancies theme is Hit the Slopes. I was excited to put together my outfit for the slopes. Now, I have never been skiing and really have no desire to ski as I'm a very much afraid of going up on a mountain (don't like heights). With that being said,  I would love to spend the weekend at a ski resort just to hang out at the ski lodge. Perhaps, I would go ice skating but really I would just like to hang out in the lodge and look like a snow bunny!! LOL.

When creating my outfit, I stuck to black and grey as I think it looks quite chic for the slopes. To add some color, I picked a pink crossbody bag. Yeah, I know, of course, I went with pink!! What can I say, I LOVE pink!!
