It's so much fun shopping for children. At least, for me it is, I love
going to the toy story. Perhaps that is because I'm a big kid at heart.
Although, I do always check with the parents before purchasing a gift to
make sure I'm getting a gift they would like. Nothing worse than
buying a gift for a child, to have them disappointed. I once got my friends'
daughter a barbie doll (I was told to get that one), and the little girl was
NOT happy about the barbie, at all. She had no problem
telling me how unhappy she was. I felt terrible that she was so
telling me how unhappy she was. I felt terrible that she was so
unhappy with my gift. It has stuck with me ever since.
Do you like shopping for children??
Let me know, I love hearing from you!!
Best, Marie

ReplyDeleteKayla always gets a set of christmas pjs every year; then she wears them all christmas day LOL
ReplyDeleteI love going to toy stores! :) I also really enjoy getting books for kiddos in our lives. Particularly the ones that haven't ever wanted for anything. I feel like getting them a book is always ok! :) I love the lego xmas train, it caught my eye in the lego store the other day. As well as those chip shoes! Adorable!! :) Xo - Alexandra

ReplyDeleteAnyway, these picks are ah-mazing! Those Beauty and the Beast shoes!!!!!!! Andi would absolutely die!
I feel like once you get a handle on what is age appropriate for the child you are shopping for, it is so much fun to chose items!!!! I always go with jammies, a book and a fun toy for each of the kiddos on my list! I am even having more fun now that we have Zoe :) I love those Beauty and the Beast shoes!!! And when kids get older, they so aren't afraid to show their displeasure. lol. My sister had to have a talk about being grateful one year with two of her kiddos.

ReplyDeleteI need to figure out what my niece wants.
ReplyDeleteOh, my niece has declared her displeasure over a gift before but I just let it go - that's kids for you! I do try and find out what they want/are interested in for the most part though. I've given a Night Before Christmas box before that included jammies, a book, a movie, and some other fun items.
