It's almost time to start breaking out
those fall jackets. Not sure about you,
but I cannot wait for the cooler temps.
Here are some of the coats that

When you living in New England, you have to have more than one coat.
There is no one fits all for the weather here. You need one coat
for the bitter cold days, one coat for those in-between days,
and then a dress coat...ok, ok, maybe that is just
my reasoning for having more than a few coats.
(Places around here are always over heated)
This past winter, I wore my wool coat the most.
I only break out the puffer coat on those
bitter cold or snowy days. I'm hoping
this winter is once again mild.
Just one snow storm, that is all I need.
Well, maybe two but that is it.

ReplyDeletebeing from the NE, i can totally vouch for this! i still have a coat for every kind of weather (although i've paired down, maybe by one or two haha). i love that llbean coat - so classic. ok but they are all cute of course :)

ReplyDeleteI swore I was not buying any coats this year. It barely got cold enough to wear the ones I already own from last year, but that Kate Spade coat might just be too good to pass up. Great picks.

I was just thinking the other day that I have too many coats! But I agree that it's kind of necessary in the Northeast. I wore my wool peacoat the most last winter, but I do love my ultra-slim puffer when it's really cold. I kinda looks like the CK one here. Love the Elle Tahari and Halogen ones, but I'd be so worried about getting them dirty!

Growing up in CT I will totally co-sign the need for several jackets living in New England. The weather is so up and down from the slightly chilly to cold to bitter cold all in one week sometimes. Loving your picks! <3

ReplyDeleteThat pink Kate Spade!!! I die!!!! I so need that!!! I love everything about it! We dont have a lot of days where we need something heavy here, so I don't keep many coats in my possession. I try to keep some good investment classics around that work year after year. That pink one fits the bill :)
ReplyDeleteYou definitely need a lot of coats here in Seattle too. A jacket, a cold weather coat, one for when it's sprinkling, and raining, and storming... Haha! I love the Kate Spade and Halogen coats so much! I need to look into getting a trench this year. I've never had one before!
