I'm a huge fan of Elin Hilderbrand.
All of her books are set on the Island of Nantucket.
They are great beach reads. Also, she is a twin which
I just found out. Had no idea she was a twin,
maybe that is why I enjoy her books so much.
Twin thing is a real thing!!
For Christmas, Jenn bought me the,The Winter Trilogy.
It's about a family that gathers on Nantucket for the Holidays.
It's a story about family, love, lost, heartbreak, hope,
joy, and Christmas.
Winter Stroll is the
first book.
(Ms. Hilderbrand's first novel
about Christmas.)
Winter Street is the
second book.
Winter Storms,is the third
and final book.
I just finished reading them.
Don't judge, I work alot. haha
I loved the series so much that
I was truly sad to see it end.
If you are looking for a good beach read,
please check this trilogy out. You won't
be disappointed. And no, I don't think
there is anything wrong with reading a book
about Christmas (and winter) in the summer.
Heck, I do listen to Christmas music year around.
Are you a fan of Elin Hilderbrand??
Let me know, I love hearing from you!!
Best, Marie
I had no idea she was a twin, but I really enjoy her books! I read a few over the last few months but have these on the hold list at the library!! xo, Biana -BlovedBoston

I haven't read any of her books but so many of them are on my to read list. I really need to get around to them! Glad you enjoyed them! They sound awesome.
ReplyDeleteI love her! And you do not know how excited this makes me because I love a good series and was just thinking the other day I needed one for summer! I think I might be clicking away on Amazon and get these on order!
ReplyDeleteI just read my first Hilderbrand book ever... Loved it. I may have to save these when its cold though ;)
ReplyDeleteI actually read the second one, thinking it was the first one, until someone pointed it out to me when I was already halfway through it! I had thought it started off kind of weird/confusing... haha. I never read the rest of the series, though I might reread them all (in the right order) next year because I love a good cozy book around the holidays!
ReplyDeleteI STILL haven't read an Elin Hilderbrand book yet, but I really need to! I love the idea of a beachy setting!
ReplyDeleteOk, where have I been bc I've never heard of this author??
