Makeup Hits and Misses

I gotta be honest, I have a problem.
A big one. I'm a makeup junkie.
I have been on a roll with buying new products and trying them out.
What can I say, it always fits, right?

Here are my makeup hits and misses.

HIT

Dry Bar I Heart Road Trips Kit
This kit comes with The Chaser Shine Cream,Triple Sec,
and Mai Tai Spritzer.I'm loving each of these products and I love the way
they smell.  When I want some shine, I use the cream. When I need dry shampoo,
I reach for the Triple Sec (it makes my dirty hair smell so good!). On the days, I wash my hair, I spray the Mai Tai Spritzer on my wet hair. Totally makes my curls look amazing.
For $32, this kit is worth it.

HIT

bareMinerals Bareskin Complete Coverage Serum Concealer
I just purchased this concealer and so far I like it.
It doesn't cake and gives really good coverage.

MISS

L'Oreal Volumizing Miss Manga Mascara
Was not a fan at all. The mascara did nothing to add volume to my limp lashes.
Oh and after about two weeks of use,the bottle was empty.
I don't wear that much makeup, ok maybe I do.

L'Oreal

MISS

Neutrogena Eye Makeup Remover Lotion
I liked this at first, thought it removed my waterproof eye makeup well.
But after a few weeks of using it, I realized it was drying my eye lids out.
I mean, I actually had dry spots on my eye lids. Took me some time
to figure out what was causing it and it was this stuff. As soon as I stopped using it,
my eye lids went back to normal.

UNDECIDED

Living Proof  'No Frizz' Humidity Shield

I'm not really sure how I feel about this stuff.
It doesn't seem to help my frizz and on some days,
I feel like my frizz is worse with it. However, I like the volume it's adds to my hair.
I spray a little bit of it in the morning and let it dry a bit. Then I add some hairspray.
It does add body to my hair but doesn't seem to help the frizz at all.

Living Proof

Miss

Bliss Triple Oxygen Instant Energizing Foaming Mask

I like how it tingled on my face but I didn't notice any change in
in my skin at all. I don't think it did anything actually.

Bliss

That wraps up my makeup hits and misses.

I will be doing a review off my Play! by Sephora box
in the near future. I just received it. Took a while to
actually receive (3 weeks to be exact) the box from when
I was charged for it. They do not offer express
shipping on the box which I thought was
disappointing.

  14. that's a bummer that the mascara wasn't good! Loreal has my favorite mascara of all time. And I find that frizz serums are really hit or miss generally speaking!

  18. Oh weird about that eye make up remover! At least you figured out what it was! I haven't tried the DryBar stuff yet but that kit sounds fun! Loreal usually has decent mascara so bummer there.

  19. I'm glad to hear you liked the Dry Bar kit - it's been on my wish list forever! Have you tried Living Proof S&C? I recently started using it and LOVE it.

  20. I like other Living Proof products (shampoo/conditioner/dry shampoo/five styling thing) but haven't tried the one you have here. Not planning on it.

  21. That Dry Bar kit is only $32?! That's tempting! And that's so weird about the eye makeup remover. You would think makeup remover LOTION would be hydrating, not drying! So strange.
