Holiday Questionaire

I saw this over at  Emily's Blog and knew I had to steal it.
It's originally from Jenn's Blog.

A holiday tradition:
We were allowed to open one present on Christmas Eve.
It was always matching jammies for Jenn and I.
As soon as we opened them, we had to put them on.
And of course, seeing that we were the only twins
and girls (at the time) in the family, it was a big deal.
A few years ago we started it up again and it was a huge
hit with our family. My Grandmother really loves it.
She loves saying she has twin Granddaughters.

What I would love to see Santa bring me the most?
Where should I begin?? haha. Not that I need one,
but I wouldn't mind getting a new purse.

What's my go-to stocking stuffer idea?
Gift cards and makeup.

Who is the hardest to shop for during the holidays?
My Mom.
She has everything a girl could want.

Favorite winter accessory:
Scarves.

Christmas lights - colored or white?
 Colored.

Favorite holiday cocktail:
Eggnog Martini.
I also like Bailey's on the rocks and
champagne!

Favorite holiday food:
Frosted Gingerbread cookies

White elephant gift idea:
Dunkin Donut's gift card,
everyone I work with loves
that place.

Funny picture with Santa:
I'm not sure I have one.
Even as a child, I didn't like having
my picture taken.

Do I like candy canes?
Yes, I do.
I prefer the little ones to the big ones.

Hot chocolate - marshmallows or no marshmallows?
The more the marshmallows, the better!
In fact, it's the only way I will drink it.

Favorite holiday song:
Do they know it's Christmas by Band Aid (1984)
I love love this song.

Favorite holiday movie:
Elf.

Funny holiday story:
We always have Christmas Eve dinner at my mom's.
One year, she got new rugs and told everyone NOT to put
their cups on the floor. Of course, I do and then I spill it all
over the place. My whole family saw it and was like she is gonna kill you.
So what did I do? I sat on the spot, so she wouldn't see it.
I got busted when I got back up and the back of my pants were all wet.
On Christmas morning, my stocking was filled with no-spill sippy cups!
Oh and I was in college when this happened.
My family still brings it up today.

Have I ever been on a sleigh ride?
No, I haven't but I would like to.

Fun holiday memory:
I have so many wonderful memories that it would
hard to pick just one. The one that sticks out the most is that I once got a donkey
pinata as a gift and I was like what the hell is this??
Inside were plane tickets to Spain.
My mom couldn't find a bull pinata so she got me a donkey one.
I will never forget opening it and being like
you got me a pinata?? What the??

Thanks Jenn for this questionaire,
 it was so fun!!

What are your favorite things about Christmas??
Let me know, I love hearing from you!
Best, Marie

  8. I love that you tried to cover it up by sitting on it. Haha! I know it's the thought that counts and all but I would have been disappointed about a pinata too. Thankfully she redeemed herself with the tickets.
