Hampton Court Palace-London--Part Two

Hampton Court Palace

Warning-This post is picture heavy.

Hampton Court Palace was a must see on my London To-Do list.
Why, you ask? Well, I'm a tad obsessed with Tudor History and the trees in the garden.
Well worth a visit. The history alone!!
JenniSixx and I spent over 3 hours walking around the grounds.
It was just breathe taking. It was like being inside a history book.
I have been waiting to see those trees even since I saw the movie, Vanity Fair.
Finally, I got to see them and I must have taken at least a 100 pictures of them. haha!
I'm a tad obsessed with them. They have been featured in so many movies!!
In fact, a movie (I don't recall which one) had been filming a few days before our visit.
Hampton Court is about an hour train ride outside of London.
While, it may seem far. It really wasn't, you take the tube to National Rail Service (train) and it drops you off across the street. It really is worth it. I could have easily spent my entire day there.
If you are fan of The Tudors, this place is a must see.

Linking up with Leeann  and Kimberlee for Monday Morning Gossip.

Are you a Tudor fan??
Let me know, I love hearing from you!!
Best, Mree

  6. Gosh these are great! I sooooo wish I could get here. My friend will be in London for the summer. She is taking a course, but the airfare!! OMG she paid $1,500.00 I remember when you could fly to London from NY for about $400 and it was not THAT long ago. So frustrating.
