Currently...

Regent Park, London, England

Can you believe it's the middle of April?
 Already? Where does time go?

Today, I'm sharing what I have been currently up to.

Organizing//
all my pictures from London. I really want to share what we did,
where we ate and where we shopped. I just need to get myself organized.
Right, now I feel as though I'm all over the place. And to be honest,
I'm disappointed in the pictures I took. I had a brand new camera
and everything. The thing is, I'm just not good at taking pictures.
It's not the camera, it's the photographer (me).

Reading//
This Ends with Us by Colleen Hover. This book is so fantastic.
I'm really enjoying, it's really really good.

Watching//
Nothing. I sort of got sick of TV. I haven't even
watched the shows I usually watch. Talking to you The Walking Dead!
I already know how the season ended so really what is the point of even
watching? I go through phases where I watch alot of TV and then nothing at all.
Right now, is nothing at all phase. Even Netflix has bored me.

Drinking//
Fortum & Mason Royal Blend Tea. I picked this up in London
as it is my favorite tea. Full disclosure, I bought a year supply of it.
They do sell it at William Sonoma but it's $30 for a box.
Whereas in London, it is $10 for a box.
Much better to buy when in London.

Realizing//
that I absolutely hate my picture taken. I have very few photos of myself
from London. Jenn,on the other hand, looks gorgeous in every photo. I have so many
pictures of Jenn. Lord knows how many selfies she has of herself on her iPhone.
haha It was like Jenn was on a trip by herself.

Listening//
The Wall by Kings of Leon. I know it has been out for awhile now but I just
got around to listening to it. I liked it so much, I had to add it to my
music collection. I had forgotten how crazy talented
those boys are.

Eating//
Rice Krispies treats. I made some for Easter and now
cannot stop eating them. Why are they so good??
I don't even want to know how much sugar is in them.

Loving//
Today is the Boston Marathon.
Loving all the support for the marathon and the City
of Boston. #Bostonstrong #BeBoston
Best of Luck to all the runners.

I'm hoping to get some posts about London
up and soon. I know you all what to see
what we did and what we bought.
hahaha

What have you been up to lately??
Let me know, I love hearing from you!!
Best, Marie

Five for Friday

Happy Friday!!
I'm so happy that it is Easter weekend.
Mainly because for me it's a long
weekend! I hardly ever have a Sunday
off so it is nice to be off for three days.

Without further ado, here is my Five for Friday.

{one}
Million Reasons by Lady Gaga

This song has been on repeat for
me. I think the lyrics are really beautiful.
Love me some Lady Gaga.

{two}
Boss Baby

I'm a sucker for anything child like
and this movie looks hilarious.
You don't even want to know
how many times I have watched the
trailer. It just makes me laugh.

{three}

I tired a sample of this and loved it
so much that I had to purchase it.
It just melts right into my skin
and takes all my makeup off including
my waterproof eyeliner! What I love
most about this cleaner is that it isn't
drying at all. I swear my skin is clearer
and brighter from using it.
Eve Lom

{four}
Ja-Vie Flats

I heard about these flats from April and knew
I had to try them. LOVE THEM! I literally
walked in them for miles in London and my
feet didn't bother me at all. Not even
my bad foot! These shoes are not only
cute but offer great support for walking.
They do run short so I sized up a half of a size.
I did have to add a heel pad for my bad foot
but haven't had any problems.  I would
never travel again without them.
They are jelly which I thought would be problematic in the rain
but nope! They are great in the rain!

{five}
How adorable is this pillow?
Kohls

That wraps up my Five for Friday.
I'm looking forward to Easter
with my family.

Happy Easter
 &
Have a Wonderful Weekend

What caught your eye this week?
Let me know, I love hearing from you!!
Best, Marie

My Favorite Travel Items

Today I'm sharing some of my favorite travel items.

In general, I don't leave home without my swell bottle.
In fact, I brought both a small and big one with
me to London. At the airport, I got ice from Starbucks
and then filled it with water. I had nice ice cold
water for the entire flight. It was great.
S'Well Water Bottle

This spray is so refreshing and it doesn't ruin
your makeup. I sprayed it numerous times during the flight to London.
To be honest, I carry this in my makeup bag at all times.
Mario Badescu Rose Water

This is a great way to travel with pills.
It keep my pills nice and organized.
Also, it was nice to have them in one place.
Side note-I did carry copies of my prescriptions
with me, just in case.  Too bad, my inhalers didn't fit in this.
Pill Box

I use to laugh at people when I saw them
carrying these at the airport. That is until I got one.
I love mine so much that I even take it on road trips with me.
Samsonite

This little thing has everything you
need in case of an emergency.
I always travel with one.

These are great travel bags to keep you organized.
I used one for my hair products and another
for my hair brushes. I used the little one
for my candy and gum. And some splenda.
Yes, I always travel with splenda.
Henri Bendel

It takes alot of products to look as cheap as I do.
Ok, I kid I kid but I do like to carry a nice makeup bag
when traveling and this one fits alot.

Travel Cubes

I found these exact ones at TJ Maxx
on clearance for $8 dollars! They make packing
so easy. I would never travel without them.
They keep clothes nice, neat and clean.

One time when I was traveling, my shopping bag
fell apart. Thankfully, I had a pack-able tote inside my bag.
It truly saved the day.  So, now I always travel with one.
You never know when you will need it. It also can
function as small grocery bag.

The end!
If you are still reading this,
thank you! Didn't realize this would be
as long as it was. So, Thank You for
reading. Hope I wasn't too long winded.

Tell me what are your favorite travel items??
Let me know, I love hearing from you!!

Monday..Back at It.

Hello!

I'm back.
I was hoping to get back to blogging at the end of last week
but then life got in the way. My apologizes. We are back from
vacation, we had spent a week in London and it was absolutely wonderful.
We saw the sights, spent time with friends (met new ones too), shopped,
walked, ate (miss you scones and clotted cream), shopped, walked and did
more shopping. Probably did too much shopping but you only live
once, right??

Here are some pictures from the trip.

I will be posting more about what we did, where we ate,
and the stores that we shopped at. As well as some tips and tricks that
we learned on this trip.

Honestly, we needed this trip and it was a blast. It was probably the
best trip we have had to London. We feel like we know the city pretty well
and have our usual haunts we like to visit. London feels like home to us. It really
is a great city with so much to see and do. Oh, and who doesn't
love clotted cream and scones. So amazingly good.

I apologize for not posting more on Instagram, I keep running into issue
with wifi. Wifi just hates me and my phone.
Does anyone else have this problem when traveling
out of the country?
Maybe, it's me, I'm tech challenged.

Enough about me, how are you??
Let me know, I love hearing from you!
Best, Marie
