This week's Friday's
Fancies theme is Red Carpet Ready. I was very excited for this theme since I
work with dresses. This dress makes a statement with the shape and color. Isn't
it gorgeous?
Also, I wanted to
share some advice about dress shopping as I know first hand how difficult it
can be. My advice is to have an open mind and rid yourself
of negative thoughts. Most dresses do not have much hanger appeal and you need
to try them on to really see how they look. Don't be afraid to try something on
that you think won't look good on you. You won't know how it looks, until you
try it on. If I had a dollar for every time someone said to me, "I saw
that but I didn't think it would look good on me" then they leave the store with that dress, I wouldn't
have to work again!! It's true.
Keep an open mind.
