#PrayforLasVegas

Jenn and I are absolutely heartbroken about the events
that happened earlier this week in Las Vegas. We are both huge
music fans and go to many concerts a year. This really hit close to home
for us, as we both have so many emotions, that we just can’t put into words.
Really, there are no words.  It's hard to even write this post.

A lone CRAZY gunman perched on the 32nd floor of the hotel
across the street, took aim at a crowd of 22,000 people enjoying a music show,
committing one of the deadliest mass shootings in U.S. history.
An act of Pure Evil.

Music is such an incredible thing, and being at a live show is pure magic!
59 people who went to enjoy a live show, won't be coming home.
Lives and families changed now forever.

Pray for Las Vegas.
Pray for those whose lives were lost, for those who were injured, for
the families affected by this senseless tragedy, and pray for each other.
We need to come together, we cannot let hate win.
Love over hate.

Music is life itself. What would this world be
without good music? No matter what kind it is.
-Louis Armstrong

With love,
Marie & Jenn

  1. Beautifully said ladies! Pure evil sums up my thoughts exactly. I pray that people continue to enjoy the things that bring them pleasure in life and don't let these acts by these evil people run their lives.

  3. it's all just too much indeed. words are hard to come by that's for sure. just keep telling those close to you that you love them and all of us must take action to try to spur SOME kind of movement at the top. this is just unacceptable that it keeps happening.

  4. Absolutely horrific and heartbreaking - I had listened to that festival being broadcast all weekend long on my xm radio. Trying so hard not to harbor hate and disgust and sending up prayers for everyone involved!

  5. It is pure evil indeed. I just cant even imagine what would cause someone to do this. So many lives lost!!! I sit here and think...what does it take to get some changes to be made??? It's sad when you can't go enjoy a movie, concert, sporting event, etc without worrying that something like this could happen.

  10. So heartbreaking and so scary. I also pray that our nation would turn from its wicked ways and seek His face again. We've strayed so far from Him. And need Him more than ever.

  11. Hearing this was just heartbreaking. I love music too and I go to a lot of shows. These attacks at such "normal" places like concerts and movie theaters are always the most terrifying for me because I can't NOT think about it the next time I go somewhere similar.

  14. One of my friends was there. I last saw her at my birthday dinner just a few months ago. She was right in front of the stage and thank God didn't get hurt (physically) but she posted a video and people around her were getting shot (you couldn't see the victims). The sound of gunfire is chilling :(

  15. It's so sad. The morning before I woke up to news that 5 were shot in our hometown, which is very rare to have gun violence in our town. 3 died. The next day I woke up to the Vegas news. Just so heartsick about all of it. :( XO - Alexandra

  16. It is devastating.. I am almost not even surprised anymore.. sad but not surprised. Every few days you hear about something horrific and you feel like this can't be happening.. this can't be the world I live in. This happens in other countries.. not mine. Yet here we are.. and no one is doing anything about it.

  17. This just breaks my heart. Even now, my mind can't even fathom how awful this act of violence was. And it saddens me that these things are so common now.
