Five for Friday, End of September

How is it that today is the last
Friday in September?? Did this
month fly by or what?  Time needs
 to slow down.

Here is what caught my eye this week.

{one}

Love So Soft- Kelly Clarkson

Love this new song by Kelly.
Cannot wait for her new album.

{two}

Now that there is a Sephora down the street from my office,
I find myself popping in the store at least once a week.
My pores drive me crazy so I'm always looking for
products to minimize them. The girl recommend this mask.
It's a peel-off mask and I LOVE it. However, Jenn hated it, she prefers
masks that you can wash off, rather than peel off. You can
wash this one off as well. I thought it made my pores look smaller.
Jenn didn't notice any difference. Her pores are also really
small and doesn't have issues with them like I do.
I love peel-off mask. This one  is still one of my favorites.

{three}

Has anyone tired this mascara??
I read about it on Popsugar and then saw it on the Daily Mail.
People are raving about it. It's like falsies in a tube.
I think I need to pick some up
next time I'm at Ulta.

{four}

I went to see this bag in person and
it ended up coming home with me.
I absolutely LOVE it. It's a great work
bag, you can stuff it and it still feels light.
Even Jenn loved them and picked up this one.
Now, I want this one, this one, and this one.

Belle Costume

I finally saw Beauty and the Beast!
OMG I LOVED IT!!!
When I saw this Belle Costume at
Target, I was like UGH, how great is that.
Ok, please tell me I'm not alone
with my new Beauty and the Beast
obsession??

Belle

That wraps up my five for Friday. I have big
plans this weekend, I'm going to  do
a little bit of nothing. LOL. It's been a long
week and I'm exhausted.

Have a Wonderful Weekend.

What caught your eye this week?
Let me know, I love hearing from you!!

Wish List Wednesday-Under $100

It's Wednesday which means I'm back with another wish list.  In an effort to
be more fiscally responsible, all my picks are under $100.  While
I do splurge a bit (maybe too much), I am actively
trying to not shop as much. So for today,
I'm merely wishing.

Statement Earrings

Knit Hat

Ruffle Utility Jacket

Swing Dress

Again, I'm merely wishing. Not shopping.
Sometimes, I think I should just be a personal shopper so
that I can get paid to shop!! However,I'm not sure I would
really like that.  Buying beautiful things that I can't keep
for myself. Hmm..not sure I could do that. Lol.

What's on your wish list??
Let me know, I love hearing from you!!

Sky Garden

London, England

Today, I'm back with a post from our trip to London.
Yes, that trip back in March. My apologies...I have a bunch
of London posts sitting in my draft folders that I hope
to get up on the blog soon.

In a word, Sky Garden was AH-MAZING.
And that is alot coming from someone
like me who is afraid of heights. I was very hesitate to go here.
Mainly because I'm afraid of heights and didn't think I would
enjoy it.  But it was awesome and well worth a visit.

Oh and did I mention that it is FREE to visit.
Yes, that's right FREE to visit. You do
have to get tickets to visit but they are free.
More on that later.

Amazing, right??
The views are incredible!!

Now, it is free to visit but you do have to get timed tickets which you can
get on their website. Now, you can only get tickets up to three weeks
in advance. Actually, what we did was we made reservation for breakfast
at one the restaurants, DarwinNow, that was a brilliant idea because you
can walk around the gardens before it is opened to the public.  Which pretty
much means, you have the whole place to yourself.  I have to thank Lauren for
that idea. We had reservations for 8:30am and we were allowed up at 8:20am. Since
we still had ten minutes, they allowed us to walk around the whole place. It
really was awesome, walking around, taking it all in and not worrying
 about bumping into others.
Note- We did have timed tickets for 10am but because
we had reservations, they checked us in early.

SkyGarden has five restaurants, you can go for breakfast, lunch, or dinner.
However, reservations are hard to get (plan ahead) and it gets PACKED there.
Hence, why we choose to go for breakfast. In fact, when we left there
around 11am, you should have seen how packed it
was. And, I won't even talk about the line to get in.
It should be noted, that you must go through airport style
security and they do have a dress code for evening.

I totally recommend a visit. But do plan
in advance, tickets go very quickly.
 And it gets very crowd.
Hence, a morning visit or late afternoon
would be a ideal time.

Visit Sky Garden to learn more.

Would you visit if you were afraid of heights??
Let me know, I love hearing form you!!
Best,  Marie

Wish List Wednesday, Coat Edition

This post may contain affiliate links.
Purchasing through them help support this website.

It's almost time to start breaking out
those fall jackets. Not sure about you,
but I cannot wait for the cooler temps.

Here are some of the coats that
caught my eye.

Elle Tahari

Topshop

Halogen

J. Crew

Helly Hansen

LL Bean

Liberty of London

Kate Spade

Calvin Klein

Barbour

When you living in New England, you have to have more than one coat.
There is no one fits all for the weather here. You need one coat
for the bitter cold days, one coat for those in-between days,
and then a dress coat...ok, ok, maybe that is just
my reasoning for having more than a few coats.

To be honest, I probably wear my Barbour coat the most.
Although, on the weekends, I'm usually in my vest.
(Places around here are always over heated)

This past winter, I wore my wool coat the most.
I only break out the puffer coat on those
bitter cold or snowy days. I'm hoping
this winter is once again mild.
Just one snow storm, that is all I need.
Well, maybe two but that is it.

What type of coat is your favorite??
Let me know, I love hearing from you!!

Coffee Talk

Hey Hey!! Happy Monday!!

Spent the weekend, cleaning up my house and switching
my closets over. It felt good to go through my closets, switch
them over and clean stuff out. Plus, I love how neat and clean
my house is. Now, if it could just stay that way.

Today I'm sharing some of my favorite links
from around the internet.
