Currently...

Regent Park, London, England

Can you believe it's the middle of April?
 Already? Where does time go?

Today, I'm sharing what I have been currently up to.

Organizing//
all my pictures from London. I really want to share what we did,
where we ate and where we shopped. I just need to get myself organized.
Right, now I feel as though I'm all over the place. And to be honest,
I'm disappointed in the pictures I took. I had a brand new camera
and everything. The thing is, I'm just not good at taking pictures.
It's not the camera, it's the photographer (me).

Reading//
This Ends with Us by Colleen Hover. This book is so fantastic.
I'm really enjoying, it's really really good.

Watching//
Nothing. I sort of got sick of TV. I haven't even
watched the shows I usually watch. Talking to you The Walking Dead!
I already know how the season ended so really what is the point of even
watching? I go through phases where I watch alot of TV and then nothing at all.
Right now, is nothing at all phase. Even Netflix has bored me.

Drinking//
Fortum & Mason Royal Blend Tea. I picked this up in London
as it is my favorite tea. Full disclosure, I bought a year supply of it.
They do sell it at William Sonoma but it's $30 for a box.
Whereas in London, it is $10 for a box.
Much better to buy when in London.

Realizing//
that I absolutely hate my picture taken. I have very few photos of myself
from London. Jenn,on the other hand, looks gorgeous in every photo. I have so many
pictures of Jenn. Lord knows how many selfies she has of herself on her iPhone.
haha It was like Jenn was on a trip by herself.

Listening//
The Wall by Kings of Leon. I know it has been out for awhile now but I just
got around to listening to it. I liked it so much, I had to add it to my
music collection. I had forgotten how crazy talented
those boys are.

Eating//
Rice Krispies treats. I made some for Easter and now
cannot stop eating them. Why are they so good??
I don't even want to know how much sugar is in them.

Loving//
Today is the Boston Marathon.
Loving all the support for the marathon and the City
of Boston. #Bostonstrong #BeBoston
Best of Luck to all the runners.

I'm hoping to get some posts about London
up and soon. I know you all what to see
what we did and what we bought.
hahaha

What have you been up to lately??
Let me know, I love hearing from you!!
Best, Marie

  5. I have This Ends with Us on my TBR and I cant wait to get to it. Glad to hear you are enjoying it! I am not a big fan of having my picture taken either. I hardly have any with me in them with Zoe and I really need to get a few. Hope you have a great week!

  6. I totally know how you feel about getting your picture taken, but then I end up with the same problem of not having it look like I go on trips. I think that we're our own worst critics and that we actually look better than what we think in pictures!

  13. I know the overwhelming feeling of trying to organize ALL your photos after a trip especially like London and then trying to figure out which ones to share on the blog. Can't wait to see the highlights since I've never been to London.

  15. oh you should share your pictures anyway! i am not a good photographer either, but i don't really try to be (i don't have a fancy camera!). my pictures hold my memories and that's what is important! so share! haha. also, i used to hate pictures of myself. my mum is awful about that, she despises pictures and hates all of them, so you go to take a photo and she starts talking about how much she hates photos so every photo is with her talking.. no wonder you hate photos, stop talking! but anyway. so it was hard for me because i felt like i should hate them as well haha. but really, even a bad picture is a good picture, especially with loved ones or in new places. get in the photos!

  18. I can relate, sometimes I get home and I think... really...? These are the photos I have?!?!?!??!?! Yikes. For me, reading A Beautiful Mess's book about photos was super helpful. Also, taking tons and tons (on my iphone) using bursts helps. I always empty my phone before hand and then take more than I will need. I'd rather delete them and have too many than not have as good of shots as I'd like! :) I've heard great things about that book! Have you watched Big Little Lies yet? I haven't (I want to read it first) but I know people were LOVING it. Also, I know it sounds SO BAD (I didn't want to watch it!) but izombie is just such a witty/intriguing show. KC and I gave it a chance and after 2 episodes we were hooked. The first 2 seasons are on Netflix. Also, we have converted like 6-7 people into watching it (who were also skeptical) and everyone loves it! hehe XO - Alexandra
