Confessions

Confessions What's Hap-Pinning

I confess
that I got a little carried away with my
holiday shopping (so many gifts to myself)
and think I totally
need to do a No Spend Month.
Pinterest

I confess
that I'm going through that
I hate everything in my closet phase.
There is absolutely nothing wrong
with the clothes in my closet, I just needed
some inspiration on how to make them look
fresh again.
Pinterest

I confess
that I'm trying to be more positive
and not such a negative nelly.
Thought this was a great reminder
for the new year.

I confess
that I feel like I'm
always waiting for something, someone, etc.
I'm trying to live in the moment and enjoy
what is going on right now.

  9. I need to do a no shopping month too! I've been so bad recently! And I've been going through the "I hate everything in my closet" phase... which is what led to the spending! <3, Pamela Sequins & Sea Breezes

  14. I absolutely love that saying about waiting. For the longest time I always felt like I was waiting on something as well, but for the last couple of years I finally feel like I'm living in the now and it feels great!

  15. yes to all the things! seriously, mostly to the no spend month though. okay, so i've only ever technically done 1 where i didn't buy anything at all, but i've done other types like no clothes etc (still bought books) and this month i spent less than $100 (just) which is worlds better than what i was spending a year and a half ago. just start small, you know?

  16. I think we can all relate to going through phases of hating everything in our closet. For me, it happens at the end of a season when I'm just waiting for the new one to roll around!

  17. It's never fun waiting around on people. Hope you don't have to deal with that much longer...I hear ya on being bored with your closet.

  18. I'm trying to be more positive too! I'm pretty much always trying to do that, because I'm kind of a pessimist (however, in my head, I'm a realist). And I think I'm going to do a no-spend month this year.

  20. I'm trying to cut negative people and things out of my life. It impacts me so, and it just drains all of my energy. I don't have time for that kind of stuff anymore. Good for you, I love reading this! XO -Alexandra

  21. I can totally relate to the always waiting, looking ahead to something else. So important to remember that life is happening now and live in the moment :)

  22. I'm doing a no-spend month in February to try to save more for an upcoming vacation. I've been feeling the same way about my closet too, which was why I hit up a recent Loft sale, but I also need to reassess what I already have and stop shopping!
