You Probably Don't Know...

You Probably Don't Know...

...that I don't normally post on Thursday but
this seemed like a fun link-up, so hence today's post.
Well, you might have known this one.

...that my wardrobe is mainly black and navy.
Sometimes black and navy, together.
 I hardly wear color.
I'm trying to add more color.

...I love ice cream. If I could, I would
eat it everyday. Never met an ice cream
I didn't like.

...that in my spare time I help care for my
Grandmother. It's not easy and it's not glamorous
but I wouldn't trade it for the world.

...that I hold grudges like no one's business
and totally can be passive aggressive.

...that I love scarves, I lost count how many I have.

...that I will not leave the house without lipstick on.
Ever, even when sick
and just going to the doctors.

...that I love the New Kids on the Block
and always will. Yes, I still listen to them.

..that I have cried at every place of employment I have ever
worked at. Sad, but true.

...that I buy things and then don't use them.
I like to keep them in my closet and use them months later.
It's a strange habit of mine.

That is a few things about me
that you probably didn't know.
Maybe you did.

What is something that I don't know about you?
Let me know, I love hearing from you!
Best, Marie

  3. I buy stuff and never use it either! It is a bad habit I am working on, but it still happens! I'm right there with you on compliments, I always feel awkward. Thanks for sharing!

  4. I actually didn't notice that you don't post on Thursdays. It's so sweet that you help your Grandmother out. Also, I do the same thing with buying things and then not wearing them for months! I guess I just like the "newness" to last!

  8. I almost never wear lipstick usually gloss or balm though. I totally have clothes with tags still on them in my closet! So bad!

  10. I buy things for next Season especially when they are a great price! I just bought a black vest that I have been eyeing forever and was majorly discounted on Rue la la.....and it's like 100 degrees here and I won't be able to wear it for months but I will love it when that time rolls around ;-)

  13. I'm with you on the ice cream! I keep tags on things until I wear them. At any given time I have clothes with a lot of tags.

I still listen to NKOTB too!

  14. Love this post! I'm the same way with ice cream... all I requested for my birthday was a Dairy Queen oreo ice cream cake haha and I've ate WAY too much of it over the past two days!

  15. I love that you admit that you hold grudges and are passive agressive. I think those are fun admissions in these kind of posts - the ones that admit something that some may view as a flaw but you embrace as part of you!
