Friday Favorites

Linking up with Meet @ the Barre.

Happy Friday!!
This was my first full week back to work and it totally felt like forever.
Heck, I even had Sunday off and it still felt like it was never gonna end.
So happy that is it finally Friday!!

Here are my favorites this week.

FRIDAY'S FAVORITES

Song

Love Me Like You Do by Ellie Goulding

I know this song has been out for awhile but I never really paid attention to it.
However, I heard it constantly when we were in London and really started liking it.
Been playing it non-stop.

Product

Trish McEvoy Brow Perfector

I don't normally use eye brow pencils or filters as my eyebrows are thick enough.
However, I have been using this everyday and really feel like it makes a huge difference.
It's a clear wax pencil that shapes your eyebrows. I feel like it enhances my brows.
Since it is clear, it adds no color but just makes them look like they were just shaped.
Sort of how your eyebrows look right after you get them waxed?
I put some on in the morning and my eyebrows look natural and perfect all day.

Funny

Norman Reedus on SNL

Norman Reedus dropped by ‘SNL”s ‘Weekend Update, as
his ‘Walking Dead’ character Daryl Dixon.
He takes a shot at a cast member who he thinks is a zombie!
So funny. Love me some Norman!

Food

Scones and Clotted Cream

One of the best parts of going to London is all the scones and clotted cream.
Talk about a carb lovers dream.
Why don't we have scones and clotted cream in the states??
I fully admit that I had a scone and clotted cream almost every day.
Ok, we do have scones here but they are almost always hard.
Why is that? Why can't they be softer?
Does anyone know where I can find scones and clotted cream here in the US??
I miss them both so much

Quote

I saw this on Pinterest the other day and it totally spoke to me.
It is NEVER too late to start over.
Sometimes, I feel like I'm stuck in a rut and need to do better.
Starting today, I'm gonna do better.

That wraps up my Friday's Favorites.
I'm so happy that the weekend is here.
As I mentioned earlier, it has been a LONG week.
No plans for Saturday and I'm ok with that.
I'm hoping I will have time to go through all my photos of London.
I took so many and haven't had anytime to go through them.
Plus, I know you all really want to see them.
I hope they don't disappoint.

Have a Wonderful Weekend

What are your favorites this week?
Let me know, I love hearing from you!
Best, Marie

  10. That brow stick sounds interesting. Though my brows got very sparse from over plucking them in my goth days--think "Girl With the Dragon Tattoo" I should have just bleached them instead of plucking, now I am paying the price.

  11. i'm sure you could make your own scones, my nana always did!! otherwise, depending on where you live, there are tons of english type tea shops that serve things like that.. not in kentucky though, haha.
