Hump Day Confessions

Linking up with Melissa for Hump Day Confessions.

I confess...

...that I was a little disappointed that we didn't have much snow, and kept asking, Where is the snow? Then Juno showed up. Then another storm showed up.
Still love the snow but I HATE shoveling.

...that I'm sick of wearing a big puffy coat and winter boots.
Why are puffy coats so puffy and why are winter boots so heavy??

...that I love the croissant doughnut from Dunkin Donuts.
A bit too much, I'm gonna miss it when it's gone.

...that I'm still wearing my Christmas jammies to bed.
Don't judge.

...that sometimes I go four days without washing my hair.

...that I have watched the movie, Divergent, like five times since last week.

...that the winter is making me just want to stay home, watch tv, and drinking some hot chocolate. With all the layer's, it is a workout to get out.

...that lately I have been feeling anti-social.
Blame the weather.

...that it's hard to be short, especially when you go to a concert.
Why do all the tall people stand down in front??

What are your confessions??
Let me know, I love hearing from you!!
Best, Marie

  1. I think everyone was asking where all the snow was and then forgetting we still had about three months to go!! I feel you on being tired of boots and puffy jackets - bring on the spring! xo, Biana -BlovedBoston

  2. I'm sick of my super warm winter coat. I want to go back to my moderately warm pea coat.

I sometimes push it to four days too!

  3. We haven't gotten even a touch of snow this year, it has been really weird. I am so ready for summer though because I want to be able to wear shorts and flip flops. I think I was my hair every three or so days. I am so with you on being short! Whenever we go to the movies the tallest person sits right in front of me, UGH.

  4. I am so happy we got a ton of snow this week. We are getting some more tonight. Hopefully. I agree though, I am not a fan of shoveling.

  6. I am very sick of the snow. I was really hoping we would make it through Winter without getting any, but no such luck. It makes me anti-social too, who wants to go trekking through the snow drifts???

  12. as much as i joke about wanting just one frigid cold day, my hawaii-grown body would probably not be able to handle it! i did live in colorado for a year and experienced winter and the whole shoveling, chain tires, warming up the car and layering up bit, and it IS exhausting just to get out the door every morning.

  15. I'm quite sad as we got maybe a light sprinkle of snow this winter. Tons of rain, it is WA after all. I have to second the tall people in the front row of concerts. Like what the heck?

  16. YES TO IT ALL! There is no good time to put away Christmas jammies. They can stay out year round. :) I also go a ridiculously long time without washing my hair. AND YET no one notices . . . usually . . . except my children . . . I know my hair is dirty when my youngest smells my hair and tells me I don't smell like perfume anymore. Apparently my perfume soaks in. AND THE STRUGGLE IS REAL when it comes to being short . . . top shelf at the grocery store, tall people in front of me at concerts/church/movies . . . 'nuff said :)

  17. I usually go about 3 days before hair washing because it takes too damn long to style and I'm pretty lazy. As for the puffy coat- I just got one from Uniqlo and it's the Ultralight Down one and it's not puffy at all and sooo warm- you should check it out, it's on sale now!

  18. I wear my Christmas jammies all year long and I'm not even sorry.
I'm in Charleston and I'm jealous of all your snow. I really should just move to Canada.
