Ansel Adams Exhibit at the Peabody Essex Musuem

One of my favorite museums is  The Peabody Essex Museum (PEM) in Salem, Massachusetts. It's a gem of a museum north of Boston.  The current exhibit is, Ansel Adams: At Waters's Edge. It's part of PEM's Year of Photography. From  the PEM website: "At the Water's Edge combines famous images with extraordinary but lesser-known examples, expanding knowledge of Adams' work and building appreciation for the artist as an important and innovative modernist."

The exhibit is absolutely breathtaking. The photographs are amazing. What caught my eye the most was how clear the pictures were. I have seen it once but loved it so much I'm going to check it out again. It's on view until October 9, 2012. Highly recommend it if you are in the area.
