Fiori Di Capri by Carthusia

Many years ago while visiting the Island of Carpi, I had the pleasure to visit the Carthusia Factory. It was a small factory and I really don't recall much about it, other than you were able to smell each fragance and they would bottle it up for you right there. After smelling all five of the scents, I kept going back to Fiori Di Capri, The Flower of Carpi and had to leave with a bottle of it. It's been my go to scent for years now.

Fiori Di Capri

Fiore di Capri was the first Carthusia fragrance ever. The Mediterranean tones of wild carnation, lily of the valley and oak come together with the exotic aroma of amber, sandalwood and of ylang ylang in a fascinating melange, both joyful and unforgettable.

Sadly, it's quite difficult to find in the US, so now I only wear it on special occasions. Every time I wear this, I'm reminded of my time in Italy and it brings a smile to my face.

Capri is beautiful, a must see in Italy. There is also really good shopping.
